I hadn't seen a vast change in video games since I bought the original Playstation. There was an improvement in graphics on the Playstation 2 but I would hardly describe it as next generation platform. When I started playing the original Playstation I couldn't put it down and that was just the demo disc! I played the demo disc for about 8 hours not stop although I was 11 years old at the time. Maybe it was ahead of it's time or the fact that the games had been converted to disc rather than cartridge.
This Nintendo Wii is definitely a step in the right direction towards the next generation platform and actually actively being involved with character movement is what we expect. Virtual reality will improve game diversity although the usual games will also be popular and there's no denying that graphics and gameplay are at a high standard.
I have spent a lot of time on the sports games and I am impressed at the active part of it especially multiplayer wise. Also I think the Wii fit game is a good addition and motivates you to exercise.

Terminator: Salvation
I have seen the trailer for the new Terminator film named 'Terminator: Salvation' and it looks for the action scene interest person. From watching the trailer you see straight away that the world has become a war zone. James Cameron's first two films were excellent although the third instalment was a huge dissapointment in my opinion. Although obviously it's hard to judge how good this film will be with the world now in ruins and John Connnor creating his resistance. Every true fan to the series will still want to see these films and the story is going to be character based and sounds like the foundations are credible.
Lot's of action films have a sequel, change director for third film and it just doesn't live up to the previous two. Christian Bale is now playing John Connor in this fourth instalment and their are two more films planned.
James Cameron advised if their was another film made it should involve the war against the machines rather than protecting John Connor. Many people believe that sequels are inferior to their predecessor. John Carpenter said he struggled with an idea to make a sequel to the classic original Halloween film and was not involved in any of the other films involving the Michael Myer's masked character. He rejected any involvement with Halloween H20.
